Crossbow Technology, Inc.(San Jose, CA) and Sumitomo Precision Products start technical exchange.
May 2000


A group company of Sumitomo Precision Products starts to sell Crossbow products in Japan.

Nov 2000

Crossbow's accelerometer deployed in the walking robot made by a Japanese auto-manufacturer. 
July 2002


Crossbow's wireless sensor networks' business started in Japan.

Dec 2004

Crossbow's wireless sensor networks delivered to NTT group companies.

Mar 2005

Crossbow Japan Ltd. established

Apr 2007

Wireless sensor networks "NeoMote" made in Japan by Sumitomo Precision Products - Mass Production starts under the license of Crossbow.

Energy monitoring system "EcoWizard" released

MEMSIC aquires wireless sensor networks and non-military inertial businesses from Crossbow.
